As a key member of the Operations team, the Manufacturing Engineer II will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new and improved manufacturing equipment and processes for medical devices.

Who We’re Looking For
As a key member of the Operations team, the Manufacturing Engineer II will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new and improved manufacturing equipment and processes for medical devices.
About The Role
- Design and develop new and improved manufacturing equipment using CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Support the implementation of new equipment into the manufacturing process.
- Execute, document, and support the line validation/qualification activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ, MSA, and generation of work instructions and control plans.
- Research, analyze, and present opportunities for improvement to manufacturing processes.
- Participate in Design for Assembly (DFA) / Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities to verify manufacturability of Product Designs
- 5 years’ experience as a Manufacturing/Production Engineer, preferably in Medical Devices with a bachelor’s degree -OR- 3 years’ experience with a Master’s degree
- Lean manufacturing experience with knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Knowledge of DFM/DFA
- Strong knowledge of CAD software, electromechanical design, and other engineering tools
- Experience with Manufacturing Quality and Product Development
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Experience with regulatory compliance, specifically ISO13485
