Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership for an hourly workforce. This position will be experienced in coaching, developing, ensuring adherence to policy/procedures, and maximizing quality compliance. Strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to resolve workplace issues effectively are required. The Warehouse Supervisor will guide, train, influence, and support their team members to ensure regulatory compliance, safety and operational efficiencies, and targeted results are met.
Essential Functions:
· Supervise and provide daily direction of safety and work practices in the workplace.
· Performance manage staff and assess talent.
· Analyze daily schedules to ensure on time delivery to customers.
· Interprets daily capacities and communicate status effectively.
· Plan the flow of materials through departments with oversight of loading dock plans.
· Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met or job order status is communicated.
· Provides direction to inspect and measure accurate daily operations.
· Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
· Develops, recommends and implements measures to improve warehouse methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
· Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department or work crew.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be able to demonstrate, based on past performance, excellent leadership skills and experience.
· Ability to influence, direct, coach and develop employees and to provide the necessary tools to ensure performance to meet area and site goals.
· Ability to delegate, as required.
· Knowledge and understanding of regulatory/compliance issues, ES&H policies, guidelines and procedures.
· Knowledge of budgeting, cost controls and purchasing as it relates to labor and maintenance expenditures.
· Problem solving, conflict prevention and resolution, facilitation, and prioritizing skills.
· A strong bias to “act on facts” and “data driven” logic to develop creative solutions and act with a sense of urgency.
· Strong sense of ownership and a drive to improve existing systems and processes.
· Solid interpersonal and organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Moderate to advanced computer skills are required including proficiency in MS Office
· Demonstrated strong root cause and corrective action skills are required
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· 5 years’ experience in roles providing inventory support to manufacturing sites.
· Warehouse experience strongly preferred.
