What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Administrator position at LACOSTA Facility Support Services?
LACOSTA’s is looking for a detail orientated person for a fast paced, rotating day shift shipping admin position.
Preferred Qualifications: A perfect position for anyone with previous shipping and receiving /warehouse admin experience
Job Duties:
- This person needs extensive computer skills, preferably including SAP and Excel knowledge.
- Shipping, receiving and warehouse experience a must, forklift trained is a plus.
- You will be responsible for all documentation needed for shipping full shipments of product, as well as receiving LTL and tanker shipments.
- Physical inventory count is required daily, along with various reports. You will be the backbone of the shipping department. Attention to detail and ability to work in a busy office is required.
Essential Functions:
- Must be comfortable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, and lifting 40lbs individually.
- Knowledge of Excel and SAP.
- Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving
- Warehouse Experience, Forklift knowledge/training is a plus.
Schedule:
Rotating 12 hour shifts, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.
