What are the responsibilities and job description for the Montessori After Care Guide 3:00pm-6:30pm M-F position at Ladybird Montessori School?
Ladybird Montessori School is located in Buda, TX. We are 20 miles south of downtown Austin, TX and 15 miles north of San Marcos, TX. We are located on 14.5 acres and have many opportunities for our students to learn through their natural environment on numerous playgrounds, a school farm, and a school garden.
We are now interviewing for an Afternoon/After Care Assistant Guide who hops around and supports our various After School programs. This position is wonderful for college students who are interested in a career in Education. It is a wonderful resume builder!
Requirements:
-Must have Monday-Friday availability from 3:00pm-6:30pm. Please do not apply if you are not available Monday-Friday for those hours.
-Must have at least one year experience working with children.
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
-Fingerprint background check
-CPR/First Aid certified
-Must feel comfortable setting up and running interactive activities with the students such as arts, crafts, and science experiments. This position is great for people who like to play with the kids. It is not a good position for a person who just wants to sit and watch the kids without interacting with them as Ladybird requires our staff to move around and be interactive with the students.
