CNC Machine Assembler

Laguna Tools is an award-winning leading manufacturer of woodworking and CNC machines. We are looking for career minded, entry-level machine assembler with an interest in Woodworking tools and CNC Machines. This is an ideal position for a mature minded individual with an aptitude for learning. Entry-level Technicians welcome – we will provide all training and tools. Students of automotive or electrical trades/apprenticeships welcomed.

Job Description

The CNC Technician-Machine Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting production machines within the facility, including but not limited to hooking up control wiring, mounting motors, and entering basic controller settings of production equipment.

• Connect control wiring and troubleshoot CNC controls/machines
• Daily duties will require use of volt-ohm meter, electrical-mechanical hand tools

Qualifications

• Electrical and Mechanical aptitude.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Able to speak and read English.
• Detail oriented and organized.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Qualifications of Top Candidates

• Ability to work in a Fast-paced Teamwork oriented environment
• Prior Machine Assembling experience
• Electrical-Mechanical troubleshooting of simple machines
• Ability to use volt-ohm meter, electrical-mechanical hand tools
• Understanding of basic electrical components (switches, relays, fuses, power supplies, sensors, motors)
• Understanding of basic mechanical components (gears, bearings).

• Associates Degree or Certification in an Electrical-Mechanical field

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a standard warehouse environment. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
