Position: Rehabilitation Director
Location: Eustis, FL
Shift: Full Time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000
Responsibilities:
- Direct, organize, and evaluate rehabilitation services in alignment with the facility’s goals.
- Stay informed of federal, state regulations, and professional standards, recommending necessary policy updates.
- Collaborate with residents and families, involving them in planning and tailoring rehab programs.
- Oversee daily staffing and resource allocation in coordination with rehabilitation therapists and administration.
- Maintain productive relationships with medical professionals, external healthcare organizations, and the community.
- Analyze and address departmental challenges, providing solutions and updates to the Administrator.
- Ensure compliance with rehabilitation standards during government inspections.
- Oversee the documentation of rehabilitation progress, ensuring notes are detailed and informative.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize rehab program outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation (minimum requirement).
- Active, unencumbered Rehabilitation Therapist License.
- Open to Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience in rehabilitative nursing and 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare settings such as hospitals or nursing care facilities.
- Knowledge of RUGS and CMI.
