What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Manager position at Lake Keowee Marina?
Lake Keowee Marina in Seneca, SC is looking for one Yard Manager to join our strong team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for launch and retrieval of customer boats from dry storage units and boats for service department customers
- Overall quality control and care of all marina owned trailers & equipment used to move them - bearings, tongue jacks, wheels, bunks, lights, etc...
- Customer Service work if approached by customers, but not a standard part of the position
- Eye for detail - must watch for and report damage to boat and / or trailer causes by owner, guests, staff or other
Qualifications
- Must be experienced and comfortable operating trucks with small, medium and large boats in tow
- Experience driving vehicles with boat and trailer in tow on highways and launching on boat ramps
- Basic troubleshooting capabilities
- Must pass drug test and we do require a background check
