Perform outside grounds work.
- Pick up grounds trash.
- Recycle cans and cardboard.
- Mowing and trimming grass.
- Operate equipment and tools required to maintain the grounds.
- Assist with setups and teardown of special events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Specific Functional Job Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Knowledge of grounds work preferred.
Knowledge:
How to run general grounds equipment and hand tools.
Skills
Some mechanical ability.
Personal:
Ability to relate to and get along with others.
Physical:
Ability to perform position responsibilities,including lifting and moving up to 100 lbs.
Machines and equipment used:
Tractors,fork truck,grounds equipment,power tools,hand tools,and vehicles.
