Patrol Ranger

Description

Job Summary: The position of Patrol Ranger entails safety and first aid, public relations, protection of people and property, the enforcement of rules and regulations and risk management. It is a demanding and valued position encompassing an ever-changing work situation and a high degree of responsibility.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities include but are not not limited to:

1. Responding to Emergency Medical and Security Calls
2. Reporting all Unsafe and Potential risk situations
3. Regular Community/Facility Patrol Duty
4. Carry out all of the duties, responsibilities, and procedures in compliance with the Patrol Rangers Operations Manual
5. Ability to operate all assigned equipment
6. Directing crowd, traffic and other types of situational control
7. Understanding and enforcement of all club rules
8. Membership ID Checks
9. Public relations i.e. Conducting oneself in a reasonable, professional manner under all types of stressful and abusive situations. Also, projecting a positive, pleasant image to all concerned.
10. A smooth working relationship with members of LNC staff
11. Be fully involved in training: Emergency Medical Certifications and Other Security Workshops, Public Relations, Customer Services, etc.
12. Assist Police Departments in investigations
13. Regular Club Building Checks
14. Regular paid and Random House Checks
15. Periodic Operation of Radar
16. Assist Emergency units in location of properties
17. Respond to alarms and investigate
18. Other related and unrelated duties assigned by the Management Team

• As an LNC and Timber Trails Patrol Ranger, you are very visible. Please remember to use the utmost courtesy and professionalism in all that you do. You are a member of the professional public safety service community. Please act and speak as a professional at all times, whether you are in contact with members or staff.

Random Testing

• The LNC has been serving the leisure needs of the Pocono Mountains as a reputable organization for over forty years. In accordance with this standard and industry standards, the club reserves the right to pre-employment or random drug testing by any means. Failure to comply will result in immediate termination. We appreciate and thank you for full cooperation in this matter.

Salary

• Salary is a private matter. All employees are annually evaluated and considered for raises based upon merit. If you have any questions regarding merit, please speak with the Director of Safety Services.

Salary : $30,500 - $38,700
