What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPHA-Child/Adol-Substance Use Disorder position at Lakes Regional Community Center?
Delivers Behavioral Health services to include Mental Health (MH) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services to an assigned caseload in a clinical setting. Provides Adolescent SUD and Counseling services to child and adolescent clients in all levels of care that meet diagnostic eligibility requirements. Will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary teams that could include their prescriber, case manager, and community resource contacts. Performs assessments, carries a caseload, reviews, creates and oversees the recovery plan while demonstrating multicultural sensitivity and effective communication skills. Responsibilities include completing assessments and diagnosis; recovery planning; liaison with other clinical service providers; provision of treatment and crisis services during regular business days; and documentation of client progress. Demonstrates the ability to analyze clinical needs and social situations, identifying problems and alternative courses of actions. Requires willingness to be flexible, resourceful, and creative in problem solving. Must demonstrate an ability to organize and present information clearly and concisely to keep the individuals, prescribers, team members, and family members informed about progress developments.
