About The Job:
Lakeside HR Group has been engaged to recruit for a Sales Arborist to join an expanding team dedicated to excellence in tree care and customer service. This organization is committed to providing safe, efficient, and professional tree care solutions, including pruning, removals, diagnostics, and holiday decorating.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced arboriculture professional to play a pivotal role in growing the client base and promoting tree care services. Key responsibilities:
- Meet with customers to understand their tree care needs and provide expert advice and solutions
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, present proposals, and close sales
- Actively network within the community to generate leads and promote services
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, landscape contractors, property managers, and industry professionals
- Coordinate with internal teams to oversee the execution of tree care projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in arboriculture
Required Skills:
- ISA Certified Arborist or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Strong knowledge of tree care practices: pruning, tree identification, technical removals, health assessment, pest management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to assess project requirements and prepare comprehensive proposals
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or related field
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in arboriculture or landscaping
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM software
- 3–5 years of experience in tree care, pruning, removal, or plant health care
