Addiction Physician or Psychiatrist

Located in Jacksonville, FL, Lakeview Health is a Joint Commission accredited facility specializing in the treatment of chemical dependency, dual diagnoses, alcoholism, and associated mental disorders. The Lakeview Health’s alcohol and drug addiction treatment center was created to provide those persons suffering from drug addiction, alcoholism, and dual disorders with a suitable drug rehab environment in order to produce quality long term recovery. The touchstone of Lakeview’s addiction treatment center is found in our ability to separate symptoms from core issues, while effectively treating the whole person.

We are looking for a Physician or Psychiatrist to join our medical team. Here you will be responsible for providing high quality patient care that meets or exceed the standards and guidelines recommended by Joint Commission and other regulatory and payer groups. This position will be working with an interdisciplinary team and be reporting directly to the Medical Director, ensuring the patients are getting the best possible care.

Requirements:

• Medical Degree from an accredited university.
• Current and valid (Florida) License, DEA Number, and evidence of Board Certification.
• Experience and/or credentials in addiction, chemical dependence and psychiatric care is a plus.
• Providers are expected to take call 1 day a week.  Call is via phone and does not require coming into the facility.
