Overview
Provides pharmacist coverage for the pharmacy as needed. Provides oversight of drug purchasing, storage and dispensing, as instructed by the director. Ensures the department maintains compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards and laws and with general practice guidelines for the pharmacy. Maintains records related to Pharmacy activities. Provides consultative services as needed across the division and supervises pharmacy staff.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (Pharm. D).
- Registered as a pharmacist in the State of Florida.
- Experienced and knowledgeable in the specialized functions of pharmacy.
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
