Overview
The Capital Market Analyst, Asset Pricing & Valuation supports asset valuation efforts for the originations business with a focus on our Housing Finance Agency (HFA) business. This position will assist in analytic efforts of all components of pricing, track competitive trends and product offerings and fully own the monthly settlement process. The position also supports business process improvement efforts including projects to enhance automation, quality, and efficiency. Analyst will be an integral part of and member of the Community Lending Team, based in our Charlotte office, and solely responsible for growing and managing our expanding HFA business.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and publish pricing rate sheets for HFA origination channel
- Sole owner of monthly settlement process for all HFAs we face directly and indirectly
- Prepare reports to support asset valuation team which includes data mining and extracting data to manipulate/calculate/format into presentable reports, charts and graphs
- Prepare competitive analysis tracking, competitor offerings, trends and competitive position to senior management.
- Own documentation of all new product rollouts. Participate in all new product enhancements and new HFA rollout calls. Point person for documenting requirements and dependencies.
- Perform ad hoc analytical requests and research projects for internal business groups
- Develop operational efficiencies to enhance business process performance
- Maintain up to date knowledge of HFA product offerings, industry trends, and events
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree related to Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or Computer Information Systems preferred
- 0-1 year of relevant experience in the capital markets or financial services industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel
- Programming and Data Visualization skills preferred (VBA, SQL, R, Tableau, PowerBI, CAS)
