We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Transaction Lead. We are seeking a team player with strong phone, verbal, written, and organizational skills.
We are a national real estate investor who purchases homes for renovation and resale across markets nationally. Our business model revitalizes existing residential property to provide affordable, renovated homes for new homeowners.
The Real Estate Transaction Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of our single-family residential real estate transactions. This includes managing multiple contracts, updating, and maintaining transaction documents, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, and communicating with all parties involved in the transaction.
The role is fully remote within the United States, but we're specifically looking for someone based in the Pacific Time Zone to align with the business’s needs. The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000 with annual bonus; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, location and key skills.
- Monitor and coordinate all phases of the real estate transaction process, including offer acceptance, contract review, inspections, appraisals, title searches, closing documents, and coordination of funding.

Review and analyze real estate contracts and related documents.
- Use autonomy when negotiating real estate contracts.
- Manage calendars and track key contract dates.
- Responsible for the transaction management process and inputting escrow data into the company’s accounting system.
- Ensure all transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Act as the primary contact for all transaction-related matters.
- Act as the go-between for all parties ensuring accurate and effective problem-solving of all escrow tracking and closing issues.
- Responsible for daily and weekly reporting to senior leadership.
- Primary contact with vendors supporting transaction process.
- Review and process contract cancelations.
- Work with the acquisitions managers while conducting thorough due diligence on potential real estate deals, including market analysis, property inspections, and financial assessments.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with real estate transactions.
- Responsible for the accuracy of post-close, updated accounting and project management software.
- Work alongside the accounting team to set up and turn on all utilities.
- During property sales, coordinate with listing agents for updates and collect key listing data, making updates as necessary.
- Responsible for the management and implementation of best practices for transaction management, driving process improvement.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- 5 years of residential real estate transaction experience required.
- Preference for experience with institutional Single Family Rental operators or property management firms focused on institutional Single Family Rental management.
- Extensive experience in reviewing real estate and mortgage documentation.
- Experience processing transactions on a nationwide level.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license (may require occasional driving).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
- An advanced level of experience with Excel is recommended.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other related software programs.
- Must possess a professional attitude to represent the company positively.
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration- Active real estate license preferred.
