Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook/bake food for residents and employees
- Cook food in quantities according to menu, ensuring adherence to recipes and dietary guidelines
- Prepare all items as listed on production sheet, including the baking of bread and pastries
- Plan production to coordinate with meal times to ensure quality and quantity
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing functions for food service department
- Other departmental duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience cooking in a long term care facility or restaurant preferred but not required.
