This position is for a reliable and experienced Lube Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the automotive service industry, as well as experience with customer service.
Canidate will be expected to follow standard procedures associated with servicing vehicles, along with various other tasks required for day-to-day business. Basic computer skills will be needed to operate our Point-of-Sale system.
Job Duties are as follow:
- Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications
- Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
- Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
- Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications
- Installing new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, fuel filters, cabin air filters, windshield wipers and batteries
- Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing
- Perform tire rotations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space.
- Communicate with customers about services that are being performed, as well as recommended maintenance items.
The candidate must also be able to show up on time to scheduled shifts, as well as show respect and dedication to our team and customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
