The Multi-Modal Technologist reports to the designated leader(s) within the Radiology/Imaging Department.
General Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic procedures with skill and without requiring constant supervision.
- Will require independent judgment and initiative of a technical level.
- Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards and guidelines.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Diploma / Certification from certified school of Primary Imaging Modality required.
- One (1) or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.
- Six (6) months of experience required, acute care experience preferred.
- Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license required.
- Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
