What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Business Analyst 4 position at Lam Research?
This position reports into the Sales Operations Business Operations team, a centralized corporate function responsible for executing Lam's global shipment plan. This is a dynamic, fast paced and globally focused position that is a critical support to Lam’s vision of being #1 in customer trust, #1 market share, and meeting shareholder expectations.
A successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and exceptional business acumen to drive sound business and operational decisions. They also need to be customer focused and able to influence in a highly matrixed environment, collaborating with both regional Sales Operations and Global manufacturing.
This role can be located in either Tualatin, OR or Fremont, CA
This role is part of a small team whose primary objectives are to ensure Lam meets customer delivery needs and executes financial ship commitments.
Examples of job responsibilities are:
- Ensure manufacturing is executing to customer and company delivery commitments
- Act as single escalation point for Sales Operations team on critical customer delivery needs – drive manufacturing team to identify and mitigate constraints to meet delivery needs
- Manage shipment forecast to achieve quarterly commitments to shareholders. Drive the Regional Sales Operations and Global Manufacturing teams to establish shipment plans, mitigate risks, and execute to commitments.
- Deliver long range scenario planning
- Minimum of 5 plus years of operational or financial experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with a Master’s degree.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite, with advanced Excel skills, and SAP experience. Power BI or other related experience preferred.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
