Associate Research Technician (Research Support)

Associate Research Technician (Research Support) Pay: $17.88 per hour Shift & Working Hours: Saturday - Sunday and holidays during the morning beginning between 7:00am - 8:00am for about 2-5 hours per day. This will be responsible for the daily care and management for animals within the Companion Animal Unit. Responsibilities will include: feeding/watering, cleaning pens/cages, weighing animals and general housekeeping within the unit. Species involved include but not limited to: poultry, captive deer, sheep, goats, rabbits and fish. Required qualifications/competencies: 18 years or older High school diploma or GED Able to lift 50 lbs. Valid driver’s license required Preferred experience: Animal care experience, livestock preferred Physical Requirements: Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods About Land O'Lakes, Inc.
