We are seeking a skilled and licensed psychologist to join our team as a contractor to support our growing needs in Tennessee.
Job Summary:
The Contract Psychologist will provide psychological evaluations, assessments, and consultations for individuals referred through state contracts and other partnerships. The role requires a high level of professionalism, independence, and collaboration to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for referred clients, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and state requirements.
- Review and interpret medical, psychological, and vocational documentation to develop comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with case managers, vocational evaluators, and other team members to ensure the seamless delivery of services.
- Provide professional recommendations and insights based on evaluations to guide vocational and rehabilitation planning.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation and submit reports promptly.
- Assist with identifying and resolving any technical or logistical issues related to service delivery or contract compliance.
- Stay updated on state and local guidelines and ensure all work complies with Tennessee regulations.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
- Active and unrestricted psychologist license in Tennessee.
- Experience in psychological testing, vocational evaluations, or rehabilitation counseling preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with vocational rehabilitation, state contracts, or community-based services is a plus.
