Porter Job Description
Our company is searching for a reliable Porter who can handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, while also delivering a high level of customer service. The Porter will be responsible for greeting guests as they check in/out at the front desk, responding guests needs loading and unloading of vehicles, assist with guests questions, provide directions for parking and traffic control to maintain an efficient check in/out process. Assist with maintaining common area and grounds. The ideal candidate for this position has a positive attitude and is dedicated to making each guest’s stay as pleasant as possible.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all bags and other guest effects are properly handled
- Assist in answering front desk calls for assistance and delivery of items within the facility
- Work with the customer service team to help set up special events, signage, and other materials throughout the facility
- Respond immediately to assigned guest calls that concern minor room maintenance and other guest needs
- Act as part of the housekeeping service team during the busier times of the day as necessary.
- Provide daily upkeep of building common area, grounds, pool deck, observation deck, walkways, elevator landings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time
- Experience with radio communication
- Reliable and able to work each Saturday.
- Exceptional customer service skills
Salary : $24,200 - $30,700
