Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. As an RN, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing treatment protocols while ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort for patients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Utilize aseptic technique in all procedures to prevent infection.
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia and other memory-related conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.
- Participate in laboratory testing and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Provide support for patients undergoing dialysis or other specialized procedures.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in senior care, pediatrics, or memory care is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and ability to perform relevant tests.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on empathy and respect.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure.
- Previous experience working with children is a plus.
