What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation and Lighting Technician position at Landscape Garden Centers?
Position Purpose:
To provide proper installation and service maintenance for residential/commercial irrigation and lighting systems.
Essential Functions and Typical Tasks:
- Function: Provide excellent service and installation work.
- Typical Tasks:
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
- Maintain and submit daily job log.
- Follow daily calendar routing and tasks.
- Communicate with Customers to inform them of the issue(s) they may have with their system, and provide them the solution needed to fix the issue.
- Communicate with Supervisor and Manager Daily.
- Be able to provide feedback and recommendations on overall task.
- Based on experience and qualifications be able to also utilize skill set with the following:
- Tree Trimming/Removal
- Over-seeding & Aerification
- Lawn Renovations
- Snow Removal
- Sidewalk, and Operator Positions available during winter months
Experience/Education/Skills:
Two (2) Years’ experience in irrigation preferred.
A Driver’s license and ability to operate small equipment is required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions, lift 50 lbs., and work extended hours as seasonal weather permits.
