What It Takes
- A strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
- Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Extensive experience with hardscaping, including boulder walls, pavers, patios, retaining walls, and other landscape construction elements.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and machinery, such as excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and loaders, for excavation and material handling.
- Leadership skills to guide and manage a crew in completing hardscape and landscape installation projects.
- Physical stamina to lift 40 pounds repetitively, climb ladders and stairs, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a crew in the construction and installation of hardscapes, including boulder walls, patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient use on job sites.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Landscapes Unlimited’s high-quality standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to crew members, ensuring all work is executed to the highest level.
- Interact with customers professionally and courteously, representing the company's values.
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work environment, following all safety protocols.
