Position Overview: Lane College is seeking seasonal adjunct instructor to teach Physical Education courses. This is a part-time contract with the possibility for renewal. Main responsibility is to teach swimming courses according to departmental need.

Responsibilities
- Teach 3–9 hours education-base courses
- Participating in department activities.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills to manage and control the classroom.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high-stress situations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.
- Proficient with Blackboard, Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Minimum of 18 graduate-level credit hours in an area that aligns with the program requirements.
- First Aid/CPR/AED and Water Safety Instructor certifications required
- Previous college teaching experience is highly encouraged.
- Evidence of teaching potential is essential.
- The ability to life a minimum of 50lb.
- Position may require sitting for extended time, some walking and the ability to climb stair 1% of the time.
