About us
Lang Development Group (LDG) is a full-service, real estate acquisition, development, and property management company located in Newark, Delaware.
LDG offers residential apartment communities as well as commercial and retail space for lease. Our office is located at 100 Dean Drive, Newark, Delaware in an old renovated stable barn built in the 1880’s.
Today, Lang Development’s portfolio includes over 30 properties, comprising over 500,000 square feet of commercial space and over 370 residential units. We recently developed and built the seven story Hyatt Place Newark hotel located on Main Street, which opened its doors on May 23, 2023. We continue to focus on projects in the Newark area and pride ourselves on having a commitment to our local community.
Lang Development is involved in many local activities supporting the Newark area through partnering with the University of Delaware, the Downtown Newark Partnership, the Delaware Restaurant Association, the New Castle County Chamber, and the New Castle County Board of Realtors. LDG also supports many local youth programs and schools by donating time and funding for various activities. In early 2022, through his continued commitment to the community, Jeff Lang, along with his wife Karyn and his daughter Maddy, created the Lang Cares Foundation to act as the philanthropic arm of Lang Development Group.
The Marketing Director position is a leader responsible for planning, developing and implementing comprehensive marketing initiatives. Lang Development Group has been a leader in real estate development and commercial and residential property management in Newark, Delaware for the past 20 years. As the company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced marketing professional to collaborate with our existing team and take our marketing to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic, long and short term marketing plans to enhance brand awareness
- Manage all aspects of social media, digital, print, and event marketing campaigns, including content creation, segmentation, and performance analysis
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape
-Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging and image across all marketing materials and platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement effective marketing campaigns
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and campaign performance using analytics tools
- Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively
- Develop and maintain community partnerships
- Create and procure marketing materials such as promotional giveaway items, t-shirts, signage.
-Coordinate company events
Skills and Education:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies
- Proficiency in Canva, Hootsuite, Adobe Suite, Constant Contact and WordPress or other content management systems
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling content for different channels
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS for website editing and customization
- Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Facebook Ads
- Ability to analyze data using tools like Google Analytics to drive data-driven decision making
-Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
-Experience with content creation and graphic design
