Lanoha Nurseries is preparing for a busy spring and summer season and will be adding day shift, evening shift, and weekend shift cashiers to the team. The ideal candidate is customer service oriented, a great team player, and ready and willing to work in a busy garden center. On the job training provided.
Requirements
- Experience as a cashier is beneficial, but not required. On the job training provided.
- Experience in customer service oriented employment or volunteer positions is a PLUS!
- Must be a self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexible with schedule; ability to work evening and weekends
- Time-management skills and ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Experience using a multi line phone system is a PLUS!
Responsibilities
- Process checkout and/or return transactions, using cash and point of sale credit card system
- Greet customers, team members, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Phone traffic support for customer inquiries
- Provide superior and professional customer service to customers and visitors
- Anticipate customer inquiries and route inquiries to team member & plant care knowledge experts
- Assist with merchandise displays and stocking shelves
- Collaborate with warehouse team to help customers with loading bulk and heavy items
- Cleaning, stocking, organizing
