Student employees in Media Creation and Design Department will assist with video production projects required by the college. They will work with the department’s full-time video producers, as production assistants, camera operators, and editors as needed on both a team and individual basis. Job Summary

Work includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Production assistant – both studio and field-based
- Video Camera operation – both studio and field-based
- Campus event video documentation (both single-camera and multi-camera)
- Video Post-Production – Using Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer
- Producer/Director of “LCC Connect,” weekly live-on-tape recordings
- Digital Signage Development using Scala Content Manager and Designer
- Video Graphics development – using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
- Lighting– both studio and field-based
- Campus event audio support
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Position Requirement
- Actively pursuing a DMAC (only) associates degree, certification, or transfer program @ LCC
Requirements For LCC Student Employment
The primary purpose of student employment is to provide current LCC students the opportunity to acquire job skills and experiences during semesters in which they are attending classes as follows:
- Enrolled and actively attending the following total LCC credit hours by semester
- Fall and/or Spring Semester(s) = 6.0 credits minimum (taken over 16-week period)
- Summer Semester = 3.0 credits minimum (taken over 8-week period)
- 2.00 GPA minimum (unless it’s student's first semester of enrollment at LCC and/or granted approval to waive requirement from the Student Employment Coordinator)
- Fall and/or Spring Semester(s) = 12.0 credits min. (taken over 16-week period)
- Summer Semester = 3.0 credits min. (taken over 8-week period)
