What are the responsibilities and job description for the Capital Improvements Maintenance Technician position at Larken Associates?
Larken Associates is looking for a full time Maintenance Technician for our in-house Capital Improvements team to service an apartment complex in Lehigh Valley, PA. Applicant must have general knowledge and basic skills of carpentry, plumbing and electrical as well as general repairs.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Maintenance Service Requests
- Apartment make-ready turnovers
- Spackling and painting
- Carpentry – Trim, doors, deck board and window replacement
- Punch-list experience
Applicants must have:
- 2 years of experience in construction and/or apartment maintenance
- Clean criminal background
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
- Own tools
- Must be available for on-call rotation, including nights/weekends/holidays
- Must be available for snow removal rotation
