What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Coordinator Full-time position at Larkin Community Hospital?
1. Demonstrates safe and correct restraint procedures and documentation as per hospital policy.
2. Attends and documents 90% of the Behavioral Health Department Staff Meetings.
3. Maintains confidentiality of patient, department and hospital information.
4. Completes designated portions of the pre-admission form within the time frame and submits it to Charge Nurse for review.
5. Notifies the Registered Nurse of the patient’s desire for treatment and the patient’s response to any previous treatment to assist in determining the need for further assessment and documents in the pre-admission form accurately and appropriately.
- Previous Experience Preferred: Insurance Verification, Behavioral Health Experience, BLS, CPI
- Bilingual Preferred (English & Spanish)
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday ; 8:00 A.M - 5:30 P.M
