In the role of CWI Inspector, we'll count on you to:
- Perform field inspections and the writing and preparation of related reports.
- Assist in the coordination and scheduling of inspections.
- Help with special inspections as a delegate with the ability to work closely with engineers while in the field.
- The drive to move towards ICC certifications for structural steel and bolting, masonry, and/or concrete.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate and work well with clients and fellow team members.
- Other duties as assigned including helping in materials testing, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current CWI Certification required.
- Familiarity with ASTM, AMS NDT Standards, helpful.
- Superior technical ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to reach, lift, and perform work above shoulder height - and the ability to work on even surfaces.
- Willing to work outdoors in extreme conditions.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and federal background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean MVR.
Travel Required - Occasional travel – 1-5 nights per month in the Tallahassee/Panama City area.
