Seeking a part time WHNP to join a growing GYN program in a busy multi-specialty clinic in Brooklyn. Clinic is an FQHC look-alike serving patients with diverse backgrounds and health needs. The WHNP will see patients for routine GYN care, including annual exams, problem visits, family planning, and STI testing and treatment. The WHNP will work closely with other NPs, physicians, and various health disciplines to ensure comprehensive care of their patients. The current GYN team includes a WHNP and a GYN physician who is available for consultations as needed.
Basic Duties :
- Perform physical exams
- Review medical records
- Order labs and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and manage common GYN problems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, nurses, and MAs
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain patient health records
