We are seeking an experienced Business Development Sales Professional to drive new customer acquisition and long-term account growth for a proven, high-value solution with a consultative, longer sales cycle. This role is ideal for a motivated “hunter” who excels at proactive prospecting, relationship building, and closing complex B2B opportunities—particularly within regulated or technical industries such as pharmaceuticals or life sciences
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new B2B business opportunities within assigned territories
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle
- Execute strategic territory and account plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Deliver consultative sales presentations that identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions, including technical or regulated environments
- Prepare quotes, estimates, and maintain accurate customer and project documentation
- Manage sales forecasts and provide insights to support pricing, product, and service strategies
- Collaborate with leadership and sales peers to identify emerging markets and growth opportunities
- Maintain detailed activity tracking and follow-up to support long-cycle deal progression
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of B2B sales experience, with a strong preference for consultative, solution-based selling
- Proven success in new business development and territory expansion
- Experience selling into pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical, biotech, or other regulated/technical markets preferred
- Strong ability to navigate complex buying processes and multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- High level of self-motivation, organization, and accountability
