Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in building systems design, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing systems. This role involves leading the mechanical design process on complex projects across commercial, institutional, and government sectors. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, project leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of energy-efficient and code-compliant system design.
Responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of building types, including commercial, healthcare, educational, and government facilities
- Perform and oversee system calculations, load analysis, and equipment selection using industry-standard tools
- Prepare and review mechanical construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, IMC, IPC, NFPA, IECC, etc.)
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other project stakeholders
- Serve as a technical lead during all phases of design and construction, including site assessments, design reviews, and construction administration
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff
- Participate in client meetings, project planning, budgeting, and proposal development
- Contribute to sustainable design initiatives and energy efficiency strategies
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
