What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Laurel Eye Clinic?
The Laurel Eye Clinic has a career opportunity available as an Ophthalmic Technician.
The position will be based out the DuBois office but will provide coverage at other nearby locations as needed, such as Clearfield, Brookville and St. Marys. Travel expense reimbursement provided.
Primary duties include data collection and documentation in EHR, chair-side doctor assistance, and performing diagnostic tests as required by the doctors.
The ideal candidate must have excellent computer skills, be professional, positive and team oriented. Must be committed to providing excellent patient care.
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician (COA/COT), LPN or individual with medical experience preferred. Training provided. Ongoing paid career development offered. Starting wage based on current licensure, certification and experience.
