Job Title : Domestic Violence Community Educator
Location : East Norriton, PA , King of Prussia
Employment Type : Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Position Summary : The Community Educator helps raise community awareness about domestic violence, adolescent relationship abuse and other domestic violence related topics by providing age-appropriate information to schools and colleges, faith-based communities, youth groups, and other community groups. This position engages in prevention programming in order to reduce the incidence and prevalence of intimate partner violence within various sectors of the community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as liaison for Montgomery County schools, colleges, youth and young adult groups seeking domestic violence and teen dating violence presentations, outreach activities and materials
- Develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and training sessions on domestic violence prevention and awareness.
- Create and distribute educational materials tailored to various audiences, including youth, adults, and professionals.
- Act as a resource for individuals and organizations seeking information about domestic violence prevention.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and adapt strategies as needed.
- Stay informed about the latest research, policies, and best practices in domestic violence prevention.
- Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and outreach initiatives.
