Pay Rate: $17.01 - $27.22/hr.
Semi full Time/32.5 hours per week
8:00am – 3:00pm (Mon-Friday)
SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Greet visitors and residents, assist with needs and concerns, monitor sign in/out logs for both residents and visitors.
- Update all staff and resident communication information, including communication books, bulletin boards, and the assisted living resident directory.
- Deliver mail and packages to residents and staff of Greenwood; assist residents with packages and reading to those with poor vision; log all packages.
- Monitor nurse call system; update any new admissions/transfers, issue pendants to Greenwood residents, replace batteries in pendants when necessary, monitor, order, and distribute new staff pagers/cell phones, and perform weekly/monthly reporting or checks for system.
- Provide clerical support to Assistant Clinical Manager and nurses as needed to include scheduling outside appointments and transportation arrangements for residents.
- Order clinical supplies for assisted living and provide end of month billing to the accounting office using current vendor.
- Log and file all resident incident reports into log book; enter reports into software
- Update, write and send out Care Plan letters to both residents and families; update staff as to Plan of Care schedules.
- Complete medical records duties as follows: assemble admission/welcome packets for new residents and re-order inserts as necessary, copy resident chart information for AL nurses and other departments, thin and file medical charts as needed.
- Assemble and mail assisted living marketing materials for prospective residents and families when needed. Provide tours when prospective residents and families are in town.
- Complete daily assignment sheets for the communication book in the nursing office and post daily staffing sheet.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
High school or equivalent.
