We immediately seek dedicated Caregivers to make a difference by providing assistance to our older adult residents. Laurel Parc at Bethany Village, just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area, goes to extraordinary lengths to create a place where seniors enjoy life to the fullest. Our care team help residents with light housekeeping, making beds, assisting with personal laundry, showers, toileting, dressing, oral & hair care, transferring and other needs based on individual service plans. Schedule: Day (6:30am-2:30pm) OR Swing (2:30pm-10:30pm)
Pay: $21.00 - $21.50 based on experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provides general attention to residents needs.
- Documents all Activities of Daily Living for each resident.
- Provides companionship and observes to ensure safety and to report condition changes.
- Completes light housekeeping tasks.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding residents and the care.
- Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
- Displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure.
Qualifications
- A passion for working with seniors 6 months experience!
- Completion of paid pre-employment trainings- provided during onboarding.
- Must obtain current CPR/1st Aid training (employer provided) & Oregon Food Handlers Permit
- Must be able to work weekends and have some schedule flexibility
- Caregiver experience preferred, but not required.
