Role Description:
We are seeking a Senior Family Law Paralegal to join our team in Whittier, CA. This is a Full-Time, On-Site position. The paralegal will play an essential role in supporting attorneys with case management, document preparation, client communication, and court filings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, discovery, and declarations
- Prepare financial disclosures, settlement agreements, and trial binders
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, and trial preparation schedules
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
- Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case strategy
- Ensure compliance with California family law rules and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a family law paralegal
- Comprehensive knowledge of California family law statutes and court rules
- Proficiency in preparing pleadings, discovery responses, and financial documents
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities
- Paralegal certification or equivalent education
- Bilingual in Spanish
