What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evaluation Team Facilitator (Special Education Team Chair) position at Lawrence Public Schools?
The Educational Team Facilitator coordinates and chairs special education team meetings. Writing and processing of the finalized individual educational plan.
1. Certification in Special Education with a Masters in Special Education or related field experience preferred.
2. Special Education classroom experience.
3. Knowledge and understanding of the Team Evaluation Process, Chapter 766, IDEA, and Section 504 Regulations, Philosophy, and Timelines.
4. Strong written and oral communication and facilitation skills.
5. Fluency in Spanish preferred.
