Job Responsibilities
The Production Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved in the production of L.B. Foster products while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production efficiency and safety.Essential functions include examining products to verify conformance to quality standards, carrying out verbal and written instructions from supervisors and leads, observing equipment operations, completing jobs in a timely fashion, lifting raw materials and finished products, setting up and operating basic machine tools and sit-down forklifts, maintaining a clean and safe work area, reading and interpreting work instructions, performing regular preventative maintenance checks, and maintaining required paperwork.
