- Provides medical services to all ages, following guidelines.
- Ensures timely follow-up care.
- Refers patients to specialists with complete clinical info.
- Adheres to high standards of practice, ethics, and professionalism.
- Uses Electronic Health Records for documentation.
- Participates in quality improvement projects.
- Identifies risk management issues, and informs Chief Medical Officer.
- Attends meetings, workshops, and conferences for continuing education.
- Performs other tasks as required.
- Education: MSN, Advanced Practice Nursing Program Graduate
- Specialized Training/Certifications/Licenses: Residency, Board Certified/Eligible as FNP, Texas RN/NP License, DEA Registration, and CPR Certification
- Experience: Preferred Previous Practice Experience
- Knowledge: Public Health, Urban Healthcare Systems, Medical Terminology, and Spanish (plus)
- Skills: Computer Literacy, Microsoft Office, Communication, Patient Orientation, Critical Thinking, Attention to Detail, Time Management, Confidentiality, and Interpersonal Relations
- Abilities: Speak/Read/Write English, Lift 20 Lbs., Full Range of Body Motion, Manual Dexterity, and Visual Acuity
- Other: Liability Insurance, Work Some Saturdays, Local/Infrequent Travel, and Maintain Immunizations
