We are looking for a Production Artist to work in our New Jersey location.
Position: Production Artist / Designer
Department: Art Department
Reporting Structure: Reports to Art Department Supervisor
OBJECTIVE:
The Production / Graphic Designer is responsible for setting up and sending out digital proofs along with setting up accompanying artwork for production.
A successful incumbent would possess the ability to quickly learn, enjoys a challenge, works well in a team environment and can manage ever-changing tasks. This position will occasionally demand overtime in order to meet client needs.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in interpreting & creating U.S. & China paper proofs to send/update clients for approvals via EchoSign & emails.
- Managing art files and preparing for production on Templates
- Managing art files for silkscreen – knowledge of splitting screens a plus
- Review, manage, and save art files for ongoing and incoming projects.
- Troubleshoot art files.
- Maintain product profiles and updating company website and social media accounts by creating and uploading content, virtual/graphic product images.
- Fill in as backup to other Art department members when needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art; specializing in Fine Arts, Visual Communication or Digital Media Preferred: Graphic Design.
- Minimum of 3-5 years designing, developing concepts and producing web and print graphics experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Adobe CC suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop), including polishing and retouching, color recalibrating mock ups and converting image to JPEGs.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Raster Link Knowledge is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.
- High-level of customer experience focus and mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-motivated team player with patience and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
- Spanish speaking a plus.
