LCG Advisors is looking for an Analyst Intern in our Transaction Advisory Services group to work closely with all members of the group, assisting in various functions. You will gain exposure to traditional transaction advisory services to include working in lower middle market buy-side and sell-side transactions across an array of industries.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in both buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity groups, family offices, mezzanine funds, corporations, lenders, and other investment vehicles.
- Analyze financial statements and assist in the preparation of formatting financial statements into our templates.
- Assist senior leaders with various administrative functions, such as, but not limited to: updating models/templates, streamlining processes, preparing request lists for targets, and updating SalesForce.
- Help senior leaders analyze the financial operations of target companies to understand and help quantify the potential impact to purchase/sale price and help the relevant stakeholders better understand the business's operations.
- Engages in professional interaction teammates.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Pursuing MS and/or MBA, or Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting degree in the Tampa Bay Region.
- Strong academic record with a 3.0 GPA or above.
- Previous private equity, investment banking, or consulting/transaction advisory experience preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word. Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a willingness to learn new things.
- Resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in transaction advisory services.
- A significant level of maturity and the ability to work under pressure as a part of a small team with top company executives and senior management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, with the initiative and ability to multitask and work with limited supervision as a member of a team.
