What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Services Representative position at LCH Health and Community Services?
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) provides vital customer service via telephone and in person. This position is responsible for answering calls on LCH’s main line, routing calls to appropriate staff, making appointments for the health center and providing basic information. When functioning in the role of front office reception, the PSR directs patients to the proper service, performs patient intake and assessment, provides check-out services, collects and records fees, and provides patient services (appointments and inquiries).
Hours for this position are within the hours of (position is 40 hours per week):
Monday: 8am-8pm
Tuesday: 8am-8pm
Wednesday: 8am-8pm
Thursday: 8am-5pm
Friday: 8am-2pm
Monday: 8am-8pm

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required
- Strong computer skills required; experience with EHR/EMR preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
