PM Pediatrics offices are set up like an ED but in a private practice setting with x-ray and lab services on site, highly skilled support staff, specialty consultations when necessary (i.e. plastic surgery, orthopedics...), and high acuity with a diverse case mix. Description PM Pediatrics is hiring additional PEM physicians and pediatricians with urgent care experience to join our team which includes over 60 PEM providers. Under the guidance of the Medical Director, physicians are responsible for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing procedural care (abscess drainage, laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive, and foreign body removal) Assessment and treatment of acute injury Assessment and treatment of acute illness; including but not limited to anaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma care Providing preliminary interpretation of x-rays with official radiology over-reads Oversight of trainees and co-signing of APP's charts Manage a busy, fast-paced workflow Compensation: $170,000 - $280,000 Qualifications PM Pediatrics seeks dynamic people who are motivated, energetic, and passionate about pediatric healthcare and believe in our mission.
