What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surface Electrician position at LE01 Warrior Met Coal Mining, LLC?
Under the guidance of a Foreman, provide support to areas of the assigned Warrior Met Coal Mine related to all maintenance related tasks, both electrical and mechanical including installing, inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment and installations. Also, provide support in maintaining the safety and compliance of equipment and installations. Must have MSHA Electrical Qualification as required by CFR 75.153 and 77.103. Essential Functions: Electrical Examinations – Conduct Daily, Weekly, and Monthly electrical examinations in order to ensure the compliance and safety of Warrior Met Coal electrical equipment and installations. Document and record that such examinations and inspections were completed. Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance – Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and safety of Warrior Met Coal equipment and facilities. Electrical Installation – Install electrical components in order to support all installations and equipment in the production of coal. Electrical Troubleshooting – Must read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, and use test instruments in order to troubleshoot and repair electrical installations and equipment. Other duties as assigned by management.
