We're looking for a professional, dedicated individual with a heart for teaching. The ideal candidate will have experience teachin students how to play chess in the school, ensuring they are on the right track to meeting their academic goals several years down the line. This position requires constant attention to both student and faculty needs, so excellent communication skills and a willingness to take initiative are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Guide students through lessons.
- Break down lessons into parts, creating activities, and tests to ensure all students understand concepts.
- Implement, review, and modify lesson plans and activities as students progress in their academic careers.
- Teach and guide students how to play Chess and think logically.
Qualifications
- Teaching experience in a classroom setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts
- Ability to manage a classroom environment and engage students of all ages
- Experience working with students one-on-one or in small groups
- Familiarity with educational best practices and techniques
- Background in adult education or childcare is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
