Sr. Polysomnographic Tech

The Sr Polysomnographic Technologist is an experienced professional responsible for comprehensive sleep disorder evaluations and treatments.

• Performs advanced sleep studies, including polysomnography, MSLT, MWT, and therapeutic procedures, ensuring data quality and patient safety.
• Scores sleep studies, prepares preliminary reports, and collaborates with physicians for final interpretation.
• Mentors and trains technologists and students, promotes a positive team environment, and supports department quality and safety initiatives.
• Educates patients, manages equipment calibration and maintenance, and documents all procedures accurately.
• Demonstrates clinical judgment, adheres to established standards, and identifies process improvement opportunities.
• Requires three years of experience, RPSGT or equivalent certification, BLS certification, and strong communication and technical skills.
